Terms of Service

Last updated: April 27, 2026

1. Operator and scope

These Terms govern your use of the MoveStack website, public documentation, Linux CLI downloads, feedback board, early-access purchase flow, licensing endpoints and related support interactions operated by We Web Hosting (Business ID 2536101-3).

2. What MoveStack provides

MoveStack is a backup, deploy, clone and restore product for Linux-based application environments. Parts of the CLI workflow may be available without a license, while protected operations may require activation, entitlement checks and signed plans.

The MoveStack CLI binary is also subject to the MoveStack Software License Agreement.

3. Eligibility and account responsibility

  • You must use the service only for systems, environments and data that you are authorized to access and manage.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit during checkout, support, feedback or licensing workflows.
  • You are responsible for protecting your own infrastructure credentials, SSH access, environment variables, backups and recovery procedures.

4. Free use and licensed use

  • Free preview functionality may be offered without a license for product evaluation and local workflow testing.
  • Licensed functionality may include protected backup, deploy, clone or restore operations and may require a valid issued license, entitlement and signed execution plan.
  • License scope, feature availability, quotas and entitlement rules may differ by plan, order state or operational policy.

5. Purchases, pricing and payment

Prices shown on the site apply at the time of checkout unless clearly stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. Successful payment does not remove the need for fraud review, manual review, technical checks or compliance handling where such review is part of the product flow.

Future tiers, launch pricing, feature packaging and commercial terms may change for new purchases. Existing mandatory consumer rights are not waived by these Terms.

6. Digital delivery and early access

MoveStack is a digital product and may be delivered through download access, activation tokens, license issuance, entitlement data, signed plans, documentation access or direct operator handling. During early access, parts of the product, workflows or admin processes may still evolve.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not use MoveStack to access, copy, deploy, restore or monitor systems unlawfully or without authorization.
  • Do not attempt to bypass licensing, issuer controls, rate limits, moderation controls or service security.
  • Do not use the service to interfere with availability, integrity or confidentiality of the service or the infrastructure of others.
  • Do not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive or malicious material through public feedback or support channels.

8. Suspension, refusal and revocation

We may suspend, refuse, revoke or limit access where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, abuse handling, payment failure, security reasons, legal compliance, sanctions screening, service integrity or material breach of these Terms.

9. Updates and service changes

We may modify the website, product flow, supported environments, entitlement rules, pricing, limits, documentation or dependencies. Where mandatory law requires it, consumers retain the protections that apply to digital content and digital services.

10. Support and manual review

Support, feedback review and manual access review are provided on a reasonable effort basis unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Response time is not guaranteed by default.

11. Backups, production use and your responsibility

MoveStack is designed to help with backup and restore workflows, but it does not remove your responsibility to validate backups, target readiness, credentials, rollback plans and recovery steps in your own environment before production use.

12. Intellectual property and license limits

Unless otherwise stated, the website, software, design, documentation and branding remain the property of their respective rights holders. Purchasing access does not transfer ownership of the product or source code. You receive only the use rights expressly granted by the product flow, plan and mandatory law.

13. Warranties and liability

Except to the extent required by mandatory law, the service is provided on an as-available basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. These Terms also do not limit any non-waivable consumer rights or data protection rights.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Finnish law, excluding conflict of laws principles, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence requires otherwise. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to use local consumer or dispute resolution channels available under applicable law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on the website. The updated version applies from its published effective date unless mandatory law requires additional notice.
