MoveStack Software License Agreement
Last updated: April 27, 2026
1. Parties and software
This Software License Agreement applies to the MoveStack command line software, binaries, installers, archives, license files, activation tokens, updates and related documentation distributed by We Web Hosting (Business ID 2536101-3).
2. Ownership
MoveStack is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property rights, including copyright, trade secrets, branding, software structure, license format and related documentation remain with the licensor and its suppliers where applicable.
3. License grant
Subject to payment, plan scope, activation state and compliance with this agreement, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use MoveStack for your own internal business or personal operational purposes.
The exact permitted feature set may depend on whether you are using a free evaluation path, an early-access purchase, or another commercial license state.
4. What you may do
- Download and install the software from an authorized MoveStack source.
- Use the software on systems and environments you control or are authorized to manage.
- Make a reasonable number of technical backup copies strictly for recovery and internal deployment purposes.
- Use documentation and help materials provided with the product in connection with your licensed use.
5. What you may not do
- You may not copy, redistribute, resell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, publish or otherwise make the software available to third parties except where the licensor gives written permission.
- You may not share purchased binaries, license files, activation tokens or download access outside the licensed user, customer or organization scope.
- You may not remove or alter copyright notices, license notices, product identifiers or technical protection measures.
- You may not bypass, disable or interfere with activation, entitlement checks, signed plan checks, download controls, moderation controls or security restrictions.
- You may not use the software to provide a competing hosted or managed MoveStack-like service to third parties without a separate written agreement.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software except to the limited extent that mandatory law expressly permits despite this restriction.
6. Free evaluation path
If MoveStack offers free evaluation functionality without a paid license, that path is still subject to this agreement. Free use does not grant any right to copy, redistribute or republish the software.
7. License scope and technical enforcement
Use rights may be limited by plan, environment count, project count, features, activation state, entitlement records, signed plans, expiry or revocation state. Technical enforcement of those limits is part of the licensed product.
8. Updates and changes
Updates, patches or new versions may be offered under the same agreement unless accompanied by separate license terms. Feature availability, compatibility targets and pricing for future purchases may change over time.
9. Term and termination
This license continues until terminated. It may terminate automatically or be suspended if you breach this agreement, misuse the product, violate payment terms, attempt technical circumvention, or use the software unlawfully.
Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete or destroy copies in your possession or control, except where retention is required by law.
10. Compliance with law and third-party rights
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of MoveStack, and the systems and data you operate with it, complies with applicable law, contractual obligations and third-party rights.
11. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software is provided on an as-available and as-is basis. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, business interruption or recovery costs. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Governing law
This agreement is governed by Finnish law unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
